At 274m long and 36m above Henderson Road, “Henderson Waves” was known as Singapore’s highest pedestrians’ bridge.

In order to balance the resonant vibration of people walking and running on the bridge, the architect in charge of the “Henderson Waves” project decided to install tuned mass dampers on 3 key locations on the bridge. 8 isolators were used in each of these dampers to balance the vibrations.

VCS is proud to work with Acviron Acoustics Consultants to jointly design the tuned mass dampers for this magnificent bridge in Singapore.
